MSB-Shakopee offers the following 2-year degree programs:
- Accounting & Tax Specialist. Students study specialized tax accounting and broad accounting principles, preparing them for jobs as tax specialists, accountants and consultants.
- Management Accounting. This program trains students in the basic principles of accounting.
- Business Administration. A two-year degree in business administration is a versatile credential that can lead to an entry-level position in many areas of the employment sector.
- Criminal Justice. Students learn the foundations of the courts, corrections and law enforcement support. Graduates may find positions as surveillance specialists, corrections officers or private security guards.
- Medical Administrative Assistant. Graduates of this program are prepared for entry-level positions in medical office environments, managing workflow and overseeing office efficiency.
- Medical Assistant. Students in this program study in simulated work environments, practicing skills such as drawing blood, administering injections and assisting with lab procedures.

Take some or all courses online
Many associate degree programs are offered through our online division as well as at our Shakopee campus. Students who are enrolled in hands-on programs such as massage therapy or veterinary technology may be able to take some courses online as well. Staff members work closely with students to develop schedules that work best for them.
